Lawmaking
First Nations Lawmaking & Jurisdiction
Our role is not to give a First Nation its law. Our role is to help the Nation bring its law forward.
Every First Nation has its own history, Treaty relationship, traditions, community structures and priorities.
Sacred Circle Justice Services assists First Nations in transforming their inherent and Treaty jurisdiction into practical, community-specific laws and decision-making processes.
Rather than relying on standardized templates, we work with the Nation to develop laws that reflect its people, values, customs, community needs and vision for future generations.
